When installing a power supply and distribution system with a power disconnect, the longitudinal cross-sectional area of the metal composite material in the cable tray shall not be less than the specified value.

When laying an additional grounding main along the entire length of the cable tray, each section of the tray (including non-linear sections) shall be reliably connected to the grounding main at least at one point.

For vibration-prone locations and installation sites across different bridges, the key points of the grounding system are specified as follows: mechanical spring washers shall be used at the joints of grounding system components.

In the middle of the cable tray, a connecting plate can be used as a wire joint to integrate the tray into a single unit.

Hot-dip galvanized spring washers shall be added to the two connecting anchor bolts on both sides of the connecting plate; the middle of the tray shall be grounded with a flexible copper conductor, and then the tray shall be connected to the wire joint to form a safe electrical path.

The entire cable tray shall have no fewer than two connection points to the grounding main. Inspection and acceptance must be conducted after the completion of the grounding system installation.

Factors Affecting the Application Effect of Stainless Steel Cable Trays

Before using the cable tray, a thorough understanding of its load capacity and support spacing is required, and such parameters must be less than the allowable load and support span.

As introduced by stainless steel cable tray suppliers, when selecting the tray width, sufficient reserve space shall be allocated to facilitate the future addition of cables.

When the number of power cables and control cables is relatively small, they may be installed in the same cable tray, provided that they are separated by a partition during laying.

Stainless steel cable tray cables must also be reliably grounded; additionally, long-distance cable trays shall be grounded every 30-50 meters.
